A new revolutionary feature in MP3 teddy bears!

Parents and many experts frequently pointed out the excessively high sound level of toys for young children. These high-volume toys, when used repetitively or during long periods of time, can permanently damage children's audition, and handicap them for life.

Baby Bidou decided to take action!

We already had limited the volume of our MP3 teddy bears' loudspeaker : P’tit Bidou, P’tite Zazine and P’tit Doudz. We now propose a new version with a revolutionary feature, to protect even better your children's ears! This new system comprises two key components:

The maximum sound level parental control, that allows parents to select the maximum listening level that the child will not be able to exceed. This feature disables the volume increase button beyond selected limit.

A dynamic sound level equalizer, that reduces peaks of audio power, while improving the clarity of musical tunes that contain gentle and dynamic periods. This equalizer also improves the listening experience for stories and tales for children, and allows them to better understand the words.

The dynamic sound level equalizer also allows to compensate for the volume variation from one MP3 file to another. Indeed, depending on its origin, a song for children may have been recorded very loud or, on the other hand, could be barely audible because of a very low recording volume. Our new system allows to balance the volume of these tunes, so that the child's ears are protected.

You can therefore choose a volume limit as a function of the real usage of the toy: quieter if the child uses his/her MP3 teddy bear near the ear, or slightly louder if the toy is used in a noisy environment, e.g. in a car.

We didn't want to deprive happy MP3 teddy bears' owners from this major innovation, so we propose them a free upgrade of their product, to download on the firmware update page (version 4.4.9).

How does it work?

Once your MP3 teddy bear is upgraded with this new system, you just have to go to the setup page and you can configure your toy. By the way, you will also find new settings, including the choice of buttons' sound and the blinking sequence, which will certainly entertain your children!
